Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God must believe that he is: and is a rewarder to them that seek him.
Faith pleases God
Recently, we said a few things about faith, but faith is a very wide subject. Therefore, we talk about it again.
Firstly, if we want to please God, we must believe that he exists. Since, we are Catholics, we can tick this one as yes. What about the second part? It is not enough to believe, that God exists, but you must also believe, that He rewards those who seek him.
Some people know that there is God, but do nothing to find him. And surprise, surprise it is not just about going to the mass. However, a lot of Catholics will pass also on this one.
Seeking God is more like following Jesus' example every day. This involves all our activities. Seeking God also means very active prayer life (daily). Our testimony is important too: what we say to other people, how we interact with our neighbours and how we raise our children. After all, we represent God to other people.
Seeking God takes time, it is not one off effort. It is a daily commitment and struggle. When you do that, keep your eyes on the reward, this will give you strength.
